This device is only indirectly supported: it is very similar to ZBT WR8305RT and ZBT WE2026. It is possible to use these firmware images.
The board of the ZBT-wr8305rt is internally labeled 'we1626', but has less ram and flash. And also: “zbt itself recommended to use wr8305rt images for we1626” (2020/08/10 alex) Flashing the image of the ZBT-wr8305rt works well, but the support for ZBT-wr8305rt ended with OpenWRT 22.03.7, due to flash and ram limitations.
The ZBT-we1626 has 64MB RAM and 8MB flash, which pose less strong restrictions. To run a more recent version of openwrt, one has to flash this image. This also works fine and provides a still supported firmware version, but even a fresh install consumes already most of the available ram. See also: 8/64 warning
UART test points are available under the MAC address sticker https://prnt.sc/twywje There is a chance, that the baudrate changes between uboot and initramfs.
